Raghu is a post graduate and holds degree in law. He
is also a management graduate, and a Fellow member
of the Insurance Institute of India holds life
membership. Raghu was with United India Insurance
Company for more then 24 years.
This experience include handling of NALCO project
during 1980’s and he has also handled world's two
largest projects during 1995 and 1996 (ENRON Power
Project and ESSAR Refinery) for Greig Fester (now
merged with Benfield Grey).
The projects he handled in relation to insurance,
Legal and Logistics are Hyundai Car project in
Chennai, TOYOTA Car project in Bangalore, CMS Energy
project, Wartsila's 3 power projects in India.
During the
years 1995-96, he provided the necessary technical
input for
GIC's XL covers and consequently Greig Fester got a
share of 45% on placement,
an achievement by a single broker.
He is a
specialist in handling insurance claims and holds a
survey license for
loss assessment on behalf of insurers and clients.
He specializes in projecting insurance as a Risk
Management tool for clients (insureds) as well as
insurance companies.
He is promoting ART (Alternative Risk Transfer)
solutions for enterprises and insurance companies.
His specialization includes promotion of newer
insurance products based on clients’ needs and
business demands through mobilization of support
from
reinsurers and insurers.
